Reasons to Move to Lake Mary

Lake Mary did only awake since the early 1990s to the development that has touched so many other Central Florida communities. The American Automobile Association (Triple A) decided to move their national headquarters to Lake Mary’s “business corridor” (International Parkway) and AT&T opened its corporate offices in 1989. With the presence of many high tech companies and such major employers as Siemens, Mitsubishi, Verizon, Deloitte or Chase, Lake Mary is redefining its future. A large, planned corporate district, new office parks and distribution centers are enticing more business and high-tech firms.

Beautiful master-planned neighborhoods offer single and multi-family homes. Modestly priced modular housing for seniors can be found at The Forest. In communities like Wingfield Reserve, executive homes are a must and Magnolia Plantation offers exceptional estates. A popular neighborhood is master planned Heathrow, a guard gated community with homes ranging from the low 300s to multi million dollars.

Lake Mary is just a short drive to Orlando and offers a wide variety of recreational pursuits and the county’s top-rated schools. Lake Mary is still small-town Florida, but with a big-city outlook.

Lake Mary is not a city that offers a lot of townhome or condo living. It is much more a residential area with single family homes. Most of the town home communities have only been constructed in recent years due to the current lack of space and higher prices of land.
